Yes, but it's not considered outrageously priced (for here.)

I mean... it's gotta be worth the 30% markup just to NOT be in South Carolina, no?

    I agree.
Walking on Hwy 82 is reserved for Foresta.

My thought was walking on the bike path connecting the AABC to Owl Creek, but yeah, the bus couldn’t be easier.

Comparing food prices in Aspen to anywhere in SC is pretty funny.

Well, I'll be likely in a black coat with a bunch of embroidery for the rest of the season skiing with a gaggle of groms.
A few of the AVSC programs are still short on coaches I guess.

Vast majority of restaurants in Aspen are marked up 70%, mediocre, and up their own ass. Home Team is at least tasty and happy to take in a bunch of people covered in mud

Not sure how long it takes on the bus to get out to Woody Creek Tavern, but it's decent.

For cheap and simple Public house has an off menu burger that’s a pretty good deal along with some nicer options. Big wrap is great for takeaway lunch, Zane’s for greasy bar food, Buck (not sure if that one is 21+)

The slightly nicer spots I’m willing to go to are meat & cheese, campo, and white house. All are not too insanely priced (for aspen) and have good food. Kinda fun aspen experience to go to campo imo - she may be into the scene and the food is pretty good. As others have said woody creek is also a fun spot

Just check menus ahead of time since many places are absolutely nuts expensive and it can be hard to tell from the outside. If it has white tablecloths and kids on iPads it’s probably overpriced
