Price is right but that is not a friendly telemark ski. Snake on the tail tells you all you need to know.

The antipiste is an awesome tele ski. Had a few pairs over the years but the factory inserts always turned into spinners for me.

If these are the version with factory inserts, whoever ends up biting on them might want to check for spinners/water intrusion into the core.

I recall a version (wood grain tops?) that basically didn’t flex and combined w G3s felt like tele’n lighting bolt toboggans.

$75 catch and release from having a similar idea (tele weekends skiing east coast mole hills with the kids):

185 BD Havocs (88 underfoot) w/ G3 cable bindings (Targa?). One cable is frayed through the outer coating, but the actual wire is intact. Not sure what size they were mounted for, but the cables were too big for my old 27 T1 Races without pulling the toe piece to re-route. One ski has a small core shot that I can repair before hand off.

In NJ and up in NE for skiing, school, and lacrosse on the reg.

If they are Targas, shortening the cable isn't really much fuss at all, if that's why you want out.

I agree that of all the Hattrup “Piste” skis, the Anti was the worst. That’s why they sold on Sierra Trading Post for $75 10 years ago.

I have some ~20 year old T2's in that size that I would give you if you send me a shipping label. Well used, but should be fine for learning.

My most trusted tele advisor, MMP, has told me that these are worthwhile, PM incoming.

He's also advised that I should find Hammerheads, so if anyone's holding and wants to jettison some, let me know.

don’t worry about finding a “telemark” ski - get a ski you like and put freeheel bindings on ‘em

Yeah--I know. I just came across something shorter with more edge hold for cheap, so I picked them up too. I have too many skis.

Uh, what size is that Bianchi and how much you want for it?

The bianchi is sweet made in italy but was on the roof rack and driven into the garage so it's not rideable. the downtube is badly creased.

Finally made it out on those boots. They fit great. Tele is way harder than I expected, but looking forward to getting out more. Last year, the kid needed too much help for me to experiment, but feeling more confident with his skiing, so better about pushing my own limits. Thanks everyone for the suggestions and gear. At some point I'll hopefully be looking to upgrade, and I'll reach out again.

This definitely makes my local bump more entertaining.
