    WTB - Tele Setup

Been out of the game for a while with an injury and having a kid, but freshly loaded up on a season pass and looking to pick up an inexpensive tele setup for bumping around the magic carpet with the mini-me. I'm usually in a 29.5 alpine boot, but my guess is I'll want something a little roomier for a tele setup, so looking at 31 mondo and some bindings. Skis would be a good bonus, but I can also rip bindings off of something in the quiver. Located in southern New England, prefer meetup vs shipping, will bring beer, fresh baked bread, and high fives.

I have a pair of 22 Designs Outlaw NTN bindings. These are in great shape still, but are the original outlaw rather than the updated outlaw X. (Only update was really a lower profile step in thingy, still skis the same). If you're going to do NTN boots, this would be a good binding to complement. $110 shipped

If OP doesn't want them how much would you want for either of the Wrens?

$75 catch and release from having a similar idea (tele weekends skiing east coast mole hills with the kids):

185 BD Havocs (88 underfoot) w/ G3 cable bindings (Targa?). One cable is frayed through the outer coating, but the actual wire is intact. Not sure what size they were mounted for, but the cables were too big for my old 27 T1 Races without pulling the toe piece to re-route. One ski has a small core shot that I can repair before hand off.

In NJ and up in NE for skiing, school, and lacrosse on the reg.

Skied a lot but both still ski amazing. 96s are custom wood grain (green sidewall) but more beat. 98s have some top sheet wear but bases/edges in great shape. Id have to look up the year on the 98s. $200 shipped, $150 local?? I believe both have a prior mount. PM me. I have too many skis and these need to be skied.

I'm totally unfamiliar with Tele sizing. For alpine, I tend to prefer a little longer (most of my skis are 185ish). That's probably negated by the fact that I'm going to be riding the magic carpet at CT mountains for the forseeable future. Definitely leaning towards an NTN setup based on recommendations.

Definitely interested in these, but I feel like I should find boots before I find bindings. Let me track down some shoes first and once I do that, if you still have em, I'll take you up on them.

Boot slop and tele skiing are a great combo. Good luck.

I tend to go ~5cm shorter than I would for alpine. NTN likely to have more boot options. I still ride 75mm but it is inarguably dying.

Yeah, buy boots that fit. You don’t need to size up for tele boots.

I’ve got some 7tm bindings in a dusty box somewhere in my garage that you or anyone else can have for cost of shipping.

I agree with those who say don't size up in boots just because, standard 1-2 finger shell fit still applies.

I have some ~20 year old T2's in that size that I would give you if you send me a shipping label. Well used, but should be fine for learning.

My street shoe 14 doesn't love being put into a 29.5 that I've gotten punched in several spots + custom liners. I'm guessing one shell size up would make my days of standing around on the magic carpet a little less uncomfortable.

I think the Anti Piste link is off which is a good thing given that ski w cobras is likely to kill someone.
