Dps 99 vs rpc 115 pure 3 dampness??

I have both skis. 99 is the original 99 and the rpc is latest pure 3.

The 99 use to be my favorite ski now the rpc is off the hook hands down my new one. So damp so freakin powerful so fun.

So I was wondering is the dampness of the 115 because of pure 3 or is it the ski layup that has more to do with it? They are sort of big and little brother versions of one another so I'm just curious if the 99 pure 3 is just as awesome as rpc only smaller??? Marshal anyone???

Good Question, and a few things going on:

+ The two constructions you have within those two shapes (Pure2 and Pure3) are quite different in terms of snow feel. In my opinion, the shape that benefited the most from the jump to Pure 3 was the Wailer 99. It got so much better in terms of biofeedback and solidity. Even on the Pure 3 label, we are currently doing ongoing, small under-the-hood tweaks that keep evolving the ride quality and power, and the Wailer 99 keeps getting better.
+ That said, the RPC is always going to feel slightly more than damp than the 99 in an apples to apples Pure3 comparison just because of the added mass variance alone.
